Interview Guidelines
Position/Personality:
- Hours - Flexibility.
- Specify Tasks - Nursery duties only /School runs - Housework/shopping - Ironing/cooking.
- For Drivers - Manual/Automatic - Use of car off duty - Off duty petrol allowance?
- No smoking with children - is social smoking allowed?
- Household pets - Walks/feeds etc.
- House rules - Visitors etc.
- Proposed length of stay/position commitment.
Children:
- Safety/First Aid.
- Discuss attitude towards discipline Time table.
- Cooking - Ability diet/allergy.
- Play activities - What contributions will you make with the children.
- What activities will you enjoy & encourage.
- Views on television.
- Musical involvement.
- Swimming.
- Social activities.
Contracts:
- Salary - Net/in hand/tax/national insurance/ Sick pay.
- Hours - Duties - Sole charge responsibility.
- Baby-sitting - Weekends - included in net salary If not how much extra will you be paid?
- Holidays - Family holidays 1 Month trial on either side.
